Upton Meadows Primary School is on the outskirts of Northampton. The school serves the community of Upton and Banbury Lane and is at the centre of a new housing development which was started in May 2005. The Upton Development is a model for sustainable growth and English Partnership together with The Prince's Foundation and Northampton Borough Council prepared the design codes for the development.

The school currently has 236 children from 4+ to 11 years. Initially the school opened with 40 pupils and this has grown over the last four years.The school after a second phase of building will be able to cater for 420 pupils.
